Thanks to generous donations from Fallon Health, Worker’s Credit Union, Dave Murphy Heating & Plumbing, and many others, Lowell Transitional Living Center (LTLC) raised $10,000 at the Tropical Getaway Benefit at Cobblestone’s Restaurant on Friday, February 2nd.
The third floor of the restaurant became an oasis of help and hope for the evening as guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and a signature tiki cocktail created by Cobblestone’s bartenders especially for the event. Winner of the “best dressed” award for a tropical getup? Denise Gilbride of Gilbride Electric.
We hosted the Tropical Getaway fundraiser to inspire the community to help warm up Lowell (#warmuplowell). While some people dream of an island vacation, others are hoping for shelter and warmth for the night. Thanks to the Merrimack Valley community, LTLC’s doors are open to those who need help most.
