The event includes a 5k walk through downtown Lowell with more than 200 participants from the Merrimack Valley Community. The walk begins at Mill No. 5, 250 Jackson Street, Lowell MA, 01852, and concludes with an Ice Cream Social, Raffles and Games at the same location. Registration starts at 9:30 AM.

The Steps to Home Walk supports Lowell Transitional Living Center, the largest homeless shelter in the Merrimack Valley.

Funds raised are used to support single adults during their struggles with poverty, hunger, and homelessness by offering nutritious meals, a stable place to live, and solutions like individualized case management, housing, healthcare, empowering recovery coaching, mental wellness workshops and financial planning classes.

LTLC remains open through the COVID-19 pandemic catering to the basic and case management needs of the homeless population within the Merrimack Valley. We continue to follow social distancing protocols and sanitize our premises for the health and safety of our community, clients and staff. Contact for more information on shelter operations
