Fundraiser of the Year Dawn Leclair and Team Chico Steps to Home LTLC

Thanks for Routing for Team Chico!

Team leader, Dawn Leclair (TEAM PHOTO: bottom center), chose her team name in memory of her husband who passed away after a long battle with addiction.

Their son, Daniel, was fifteen when his father passed away. Over the years Daniel fought his own battle with addiction and found himself at Lowell Transitional Living Center searching for help. He is currently in a recovery program and joined his mom at the walk (TEAM PHOTO: second to the left).

“Daniel is the one who inspires me; all of the situations he’s been in and all the pain he has seen… He continues to fight.” ~Dawn

Dawn is grateful to have family and friends as her support network. She is passionate to end stigmas and spread awareness in support of all of the residents and guests at LTLC.

Team Chico set a goal of $500 and won the Fundraiser of the Year Award at Steps to Home 2018 with their team donation of $1,800!

Thank you for routing for Dawn, Daniel, and Team Chico!
